So I am a long time member of my city on Radiant, been with the city through thick and thin... And our mayor since creation is finally deciding to step down to do something different. He has asked me to take his place, and it was something I have been considering for a long time.
He was never a master politician, but I think I will achieve that standing, just to say I did... Besides who knows, maybe I will use it.
So first and formost, expect to see a lot of me here in the coming months.
Second, any tips for someone new and up and comming. I am taking over leadership of a town. The senior members have been around about the same as myself, some a bit longer. Just curious if any of you have done this before. Taking over one I mean.
Also, what do you all suggest for drawing new citizens to the town?

Forum isn't horrible really, just not as fast as Jedi
Some good advice is try and make it so you're the only one that puts down houses, so the city doesn't get crappy.
As for getting new citizens, I Supply a house, a month (or more) maintainence, and usually some free slices. Try looking in Eisley for semi-n00bs, they're always fun to get
