ok i got a couple questions about city maintence.
1. Why is there a limet on how many credits you can take out of the city maintence?
2. If you unreg your city can you take the full amount of maintence out?
3. If you remove city hall will the remainder of maintence be placed in your bank?
4. If 3. is a not then why are city halls non-redeeded?
5. Why is it that i can only take out 50K once a day from city hall?
6. If your taking down your city do you have to keep 10 people in town to keep the city hall from poofing so you can take the amount of time needed to remove all maintence from city hall?
7. Do you think this should be fix or looked at for players that no longer want to run a city?
8. Is the (50k cap once a day) on pulling credits out city hall maintence a reasonable amount?
Im just looking for some answers im trying to take down my city and at this rate it will take me 2 days just to get the cash out city maintence. Its a pain in the *** because in going to be out 2 weeks of city maintance just to try and get 500 to 600k of cash i put into it in the last week.

1. Why is there a limet on how many credits you can take out of the city maintence?
1a. My guess is so if a pissed off mayor gets elected, he cant walk off with every bit of money, then leave/destroy the CH
2. If you unreg your city can you take the full amount of maintence out?
No idea what you mean by that question
3. If you remove city hall will the remainder of maintence be placed in your bank?
Nope, the money is Lost
4. If 3. is a not then why are city halls non-redeeded?
No Idea
5. Why is it that i can only take out 50K once a day from city hall?
Actually the max is 100k i believe, and again, the reason for 1/day is see 1a.
6. If your taking down your city do you have to keep 10 people in town to keep the city hall from poofing so you can take the amount of time needed to remove all maintence from city hall?
I believe the city will stay up Until the next City Update that is 1/week
7. Do you think this should be fix or looked at for players that no longer want to run a city?
Just put in enough money that you feel safe depositing. and keep the rest in your bank.
8. Is the (50k cap once a day) on pulling credits out city hall maintence a reasonable amount?
again, i think the max is 100k, but i wish there could be as many cash removals as you want, but not over the 100k max

I've never had to use it myself, but seems that most folks on the forum say it's 50k. that's only 10 days... not too bad, some folks need to pull millions out O.o

yeah 10 days is not bad except i got to still pay maintence of over 100k each week when im just trying to drop the city. and if there are not 10 people in town by the next weekly roll over poof its all gone.

Mayors have the unique ability to withdraw $$ directly from other people's characters directly. So, of course the $$ in the City Hall isn't necessarily the Mayor's, and thus the cap was put in there to discourage people from trying to fleece the city of the collected funds.
4. If 3. is a not then why are city halls non-redeeded?
I'm guessing here, but I'd say it's to discourage people from running in, dropping a city hall in a group of non-city houses, ramping up the income and property taxes to huge amounts, then redeeding the hall and doing it again elsewhere. A city shouldn't ever be treated in this manner, but you know there are people out there who would do it. Thus, no redeed for city halls.
6. If your taking down your city do you have to keep 10 people in town to keep the city hall from poofing so you can take the amount of time needed to remove all maintence from city hall?
Nope, still 50k per day.
7. Do you think this should be fix or looked at for players that no longer want to run a city?
Since the $$ collected from the citizens or donated from the citizens in the city treasury belongs to the city itself, and not to the mayor, I think the 50k per day gate is just fine. There have been enough examples in the forum of mayors who go wonky with the city to see that gating the amount taken out is a good thing.
8. Is the (50k cap once a day) on pulling credits out city hall maintence a reasonable amount?
Perhaps it could be raised somewhat (100k) but there's never a good reason to need to pull out more than that. It also makes cities really think hard about moving - cities aren't supposed to appear and disappear that quickly, but if it were that easy to pull up and move, they would be doing it more.
