Buy about 20 extra accounts, give em all zoning rights, setup houses in the city, declare residence, vote. Hopefully that will sway the vote. Good luck!

I know where your at, Will. It is a serious hadicap for a primary to have wasted points in Politician and darn hard to get out of it without hosing the city. More likely than not I'll be shifting from my Handicapped Main Combat approach to becomming a crafter politician and then have my crafter go into combat =>P

We would need... 40 new citizens to get what we need. Pretty rediculous, huh?
LoL, maybe we could hire some of the other Scyllan cities to help us out. Helios, Dune Retreat, Den of Iniquity. I bet we could temporarily get that many new citizens.... or maybe not. /shrug

It was a pain to get my alt elected. It took two weeks of work, using ever means to get ahold of residents. We have out of game RL emails, so that helped a bunch. At the time we had the dual-residence bug and some folks had joined a faction city on Talus, we had them come back and revoke residence. That lowered the total citizen count, making it easier to get 51% of the votes.

I had to add 6 temporary small houses and have people that were in my guild but not residents declare for a few days and vote. That pushed it over the edge. Then we just removed the small houses and everyone got back on track.
