hey,
anyone have any suggestions what to do in this situation:
I placed an Entertainer Mission Terminal in my city. I was standing on the elevated platform in front of our Tatooine Cantina, and place the terminal, and apparently it placed the terminal on the ground, so i cannot see the terminal at all. This was 2 or 3 weeks ago. I submited a CSR ticket about this right after this happened. I had kind of forgotten about this until last night. i decided to see if they had removed the mission terminal as per my request, but low and behold, it is still there.
does anyone have any suggestion for how to get this issue resolved without having to redeed the cantina (i really don't feel like redecorating it).

I am amazed that you havent received a response yet. As a mayor, I tend to get very good assistance from the CSR teams. I had a very similar problem and had it resolved by the next evening. I had to be online for them to correctly fix the problem, and I think that delayed them a bit.
I wish you luck. Try re-submitting the ticket.

i'm going to resubmit it tonight.
i even followed the guide that's stickied here for good CSR tickets. I included the planet, galaxy, and exact coordinates of the mission terminal, along with as detailed of a message as i could. i was very polite in the email, as i realize that they must get pestered with all sorts of stupid stuff all day.
i'll resubmit the ticket, but i think i had to submit it as a bug, because i couldn't do a customer service ticket. it says i need to search the knowledge base first, and when i did that, the search ran for 15 minutes and it never finished searching. does it normally take that long to search the knowledge base?

yeah resubmit it and play for a couple hours.
I had that problem once too and the CSR came by a little later and moved it to where I could see it. Then I was able to remove it myself.
I find the CSRs have always responded or helped me right away. The long questions that don't need my involvement never take any longer then 24 hours.

heh, that happened with our ex-mayor and the cityhall
when I got voted in to office, she told me "oh yeah, be sure to grab a dev or QA and get the terminal out of the cityhall steps" O.o
not much you can do besides have a CSR remove it, I guess...

Try this...
Get as close as you can to the terminal and type "/target ent". That should target the entertainer terminal. Then press the `/~ key (next to 1/!), which should bring up the terminal's radial menu. Then press 3, which should remove it. It worked for me when I had an entertainer terminal stuck behind my cantina wall. Good luck!

Same with medical centers - change the sign type and you don't have a sign anymore.
I've never had a lack of response from the CSRs regarding misplaced terminals or city decorations. They've always responded within a day or two of submitting the ticket, and I've never been disappointed. I had the exact same problem with the mission terminal sinking into the base of the cantina, and it was corrected within a day (they moved it to just outside the base of the cantina).

thats not completely true, Tatooine Tat Hall Shop signs are located on the left side wall in its middle (a completely unsusefull location, u even cant see it when standing before the hall, u need to get very close to the left wall to see it).
And Cantina Shop Sign (tat style) is located inside the wall, right behind the entry (the wall between entry and the main hall), u can see it when standing right before the entry and looking in, but completely bugged it is)

I would guess that it's related to how certain dancer special effects are performed on the nearest "ground", and would drop to ground level when you perform it on an elevated surface outside. probably not an easy fix

I've got a similar problem in my city. Back when we had faction bases placed in an open area, we had two fountains that were placed to prevent people from using the 80 meter exploit. The bases are gone, but the fountains are still there, underground.
Never have gotten any replies to my tickets.

Lost 2 fountains! Yikes!
It is unforchunant we cannot manipulate the budget to help us let things turn to decay faster... I feel strongly the politician should be more like simcity budget pased.. where you can allot funding to city things.. wanna get rid of things in your city that arn't wanted inaccessable .. drop funding to them... or have them undeeded at the city terminal console or somthign anything...

They So need to fix how any terminals besides the regular missions, BH, and both faction types sink into everything. It's ridiculous. Changing the sign types on Tatooinian PA hall and cantinas has the same problem - on the PA hall they sink in and are way off to the side on a corner and on the cantinas the signs just completely disappear ... have no idea where they are.
