Is it possible to be a mayor of two cities? We lost our mayor and we have an existing mayor of another city to take on our (not merge, just to be mayor of both)...
Hmm....
Hmm....

Chances are not because as soon as you place the city hall your residence becomes the hall.

I've been curious: What would happen if you are currently mayor of one city and tried to build a city hall somewhere else? Would you then become mayor of those two cities, or would it even let you do that?
We are toying with the idea of moving our city, and if we were to do that I would like to make the transfer as seemless as possible. I have my suspicions that I won't be able to to, but I was wondering if I will be able to set up another city hall while we transfer all our stuff?

It's not possible because when a mayor tries to "declare residency" it says you can't...And you have to be a citizen of the city in order to run.

From my understanding you could. On Intrepid Coalfire was the mayor of Ashtown and South Ashtown which were only 1000m apart.
