Thread: Okay, can I get some information on city progression?

Alright, I'm a bit confused about this. I've been thinking about possibly creating a town on Tatooine. There are currently (I believe) 7 Cities with Shuttleports.
Now, I assume that this means that there are only 7 Towns with Class 4 or up of the 15 allowed, and there are 20 towns period. Would this mean there are like 8 towns just not at Class 4 rank?
There is a message at City hall placing attempts saying how all stuff is taken up, so on and so forth.Does this mean I would have to like persuade another of any rank to destroy their town or something? Been wanting to try politician, and Tatooine seems like a good place to give it a shot.
If the system is somehow different than how I am going by (going on one of my friend's information), please let me know.

There is a 10-city cap on Rank 4. So, if you only see 7 shuttleports, more than likely it means that there are 7 cities of Rank 4 or higher, and the other 13 are Rank 3 or lower (for a total of 20 citites on Tat, total). It's also possible that some are actually Rank 4 cities without shuttleports, but I don't really know any cities that don't opt to have a shuttleport if they can.
Yes, you can ask cities to destroy their city halls for ya. I'll betcha I can predict their answer 
You might consider trying to run for mayor in one of the cities, if you are up for the challenge. Far easier than trying to place your own city.

Hey, if a town is dying/ dead, why would they not, really? Could always bribe them.
"I'll give you a mil to toast your hall and move. Your town is dying anyways." Or something of the like.

City Hall: Central building for your city. Purchased from architects. Usually around 500k or so (at least on Starsider that's what they were going for).
Shuttleport: City must be Rank 4 and you must have enough Politician skillboxes to place it (see your progression chart). Also bought from architects.
Actually, the only things not bought from architects that you'll see in a city are the skill trainers and mission terminals. Everything else is crafted from architects.
