Thread: Player city caps, any change on the horizon?
I agree with this. I have the same problem on Naboo. We have advanced to be a city with around 70 citizens, we did it fast and we have worked really hard to get there. We are atrank 3 as a city and can't get torank 4 due to thelimit of 10 rank 4 cities on each planet. I really hope this will change becaue you kind of loose your interest in working hard sinceyou can't expand unless you are able to get to the next lvl.
We have a unique theme in our city, to make it special, and we are pretty active as well. With no shuttleport alot of things gets harder and rougher for us. And businessis notas good at all, as ifit would be with a shuttleport. Plus, with this limit, I think that the people who were here starting cities in the start of the game, well....they have all the advantages, others stand no chance in getting further unless they loose citizens, and I thinkit's a shame.
I look forward to see some changes...![]()
A question, is there a que to get to rank 4? We have been at rank 3 qualifing forrank 4 for a long time. If cities drop from rank 4 to rank 3 is there a certain system so some doesn't have to wait forever to get to rank 4, and some get it at once? Or is it random?

Keep in mind that just because the core planets (Tatooine, Corellia, Naboo) may be capped for Rank 4+ cities on your sever that it is very likely that one of the secondary planets (Lok, Dantooine, Rori, Talus) is not. So the possibility of creating a larger city exists on your sever, even if it's not on every planet.
The caps are there to keep everyone and their brother, niece and uncle from creating Player Cities across the face of the planets. It is not necessary to have a shuttleport every 1000m or so, particularly with the variety of fast transportation available.
