Hello! Hello!
Recently my boyfriend and i started playing star wars we joined a guild no big surprise there... when we discovered that the guild was dying... quickly we took our people skills out and began recruiting... thats when we realized the elders have all left... so we spoke with our last contact from the founders who gave us permission to take over. and since then we have not seen anyone from the original guild again.. all well and good except... after registering for both guild leader and mayor.... the elections have not happened it has been over a month we have new guildies who we can not accept , we have houses waiting to be placed, basically we have no control over anything... so we need some advice help... anything and everything you can tell us would be greatly appriecated

The fact that "all the elders have left" should be a signthat something is wrong.I almost feel sorry for you,in noteven realizing thecontroversy and the huge disappointment most of the veteran players have endured with SWG. Many guilds and even entire cities have disappeared due to the vast amount of players (most being veterans) leaving the game due to the negative changes from the combat upgrade. All the elders haveindeed leftand in fact this elder is preparing to leave as well.SWG's golden age is now in the past.

I didnt mean to mislead anyone.... all of the elders in the city/guild left long before the combat upgrade... my boyfriend and myself began attempting to take control of the city 1 week before the combat upgrade.... so my problems have absolutely NOTHING to do with any changes or lack there of to the combat system.

Write up a ticket if what you're saying is what I'm reading. The mayoral election hasn't occured during the 3 week interval, correct?
As per the guild, it takes a long time of leader inactivity to activate the default guild election so that's running as intended I'm sure. Might want to see if CS will start one up for you though otherwise just send out a guildmail explaining it all and start a new guild.
