last week in politics
for those of you who wonder why I'm still around, the devs seems to be postponing the enforcement of the 6 month term limit... and if they aren't done within this month I'll just resign. you guys are stuck with me for now
they finally took down TC-Ep3, so I'm back onto mayoring New Unity on TC. the city was pretty quiet when I logged in, but everything seems to be in place. there are problems with the TC database after all the mothballing, and all the vendors are empty
so all quiet on the TC front... how's your city this week?
Well, I've finally decided to let someone else be mayor of Ammon, Rori. I think I'll take my abilities onto a bigger scope and try to unite several guilds for the ultimate goal for Euro-Infinity: to replace Emperor Palpatine with me as the new galactic emperor!
Otherwise, we've taken in a couple of our servers "celebrities" and been playing around with the ReSpec and 2x XP play. We've had more group hunts/events since the CURB, so at least we're coming together more often.
It seems that the City terminal bug may have been fixed, either that or I'm just not experiancing it as much. Plus the bug of adding members to the militia seems to have passed. For a while, I couldn't add anyone even if they were standing on top of the terminal. But I've added a few this past week so it may have passed.
But for now, I think I'll go finish off my season in Madden '05.
/sigh Defiance, Rori, Corbantis is still dyinga slow death.
As for the other cityI "live" in (Desert City, Lok), nothing at all is happening lol.

Hmm... maybe Kelsaka can be mayor of Seaview and Mai can be mayor of Ammon?
There's been more activity in town following the CURB, mostly owing to the fact that the best way to grind xp is to run missions. The hunts remind me of the old days when the guild would get together to hunt rancors.
The new condemned system is a pain. The doctor that placed our medcenter on our main square left a long time ago, but the medcenter won't go away and is unusable. I have a similar problem in my merchant plaza with the tent of a merchant that quit and now I can't use that space for anyone else.
They really need to finish the "pack-up" code and let mayors pack up condemned buildings.

When there is a correspondent opening, Tiggs or Thunderheart make an announcement in the relevant forum. It gives you a brief description of what the position entails and how to apply. Once a new correspondent is chosen, one of those two make another post to announce it in the same forum.
