Our city has about 20-30 inactive members. Was wondering if there is any way to remove a house, and allow growth for people that actually play? Any way a CSR could do the power slide on a house, like the ones that happen when we are sitting lol!

Who ever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool, or a coward.
Who ever cannot take care of himself without that law is both.
For wounded man shall say to his assailant "If I live I will kill you. If I die all is forgiven."
Such is the rule of honor.

From the FAQ stickied to the top of this forum:

Q: There are structures in my city from players who have left the game/no longer active. How do I remove unwanted player structures from my city?

A: There is currently no way to remove player structures from a city if the structure was fairly placed (meaning with /grantzoningrights or with no zoning enabled and not due to a bug). Placing items that prevent a player from accessing their structures is considered griefing.

While a house with 0 maintenance will eventually become condemned, those structures will remain and not be destroyed due to lack of maintenance. According to Tiggs, "Condemned houses will stay until the time that the Character/House Purge system kicks in and clears out houses of inactive characters and cancelled accounts."
