Can we get this fixed? I need to give admin rights to the cloning center and City Hall to the decorators. But I have to do it every day, and I have to be in the building to do it!
This means I need to make trips back to the city more often than would be necessary if I could simply do it once and have it stick.

The main reason is that you're not supposed to be able to give them admin rights in the first place. Using the / slash commands is an "exploit" and is being removed with the next publish.

WEll I know / commands are being removed because of the exploit of a mayor blocking people from entering City Hall to vote. But that's no reason to remove all of them! Why shouldn't I be able to make others admin of these buildings? Not all mayors have the time or inclination to decorate.

All they have to do is make public buildings like merchant tents. you can use all of the same commands except one. You can't set the privacy, it's ALWAYS public.
I agree, I'd rather be able to add people to my admin list in the city hall as well.

That's pretty retarded. Why does a mayor have to decorate the City Hall? When they have a city full of talented people who would do it for them?

Don't take what this person says as fact. Slash commands are being removed from civic structures, but it's not as simple as that. The fact that the city hall does not have an admin list accessible from the structure terminal is clearly an oversight that will be corrected in time.
