Thread: Plinka, question on Cantinas and Med Centers

I apologize if this has been answered. I've searched the forums and couldn't find the answer.
If a Master Dancer/Musician/Chef place a Cantina and then drop the profession, what happens to the Cantina? Same goes for the medical Center?

From what I've been told, it *poofs*, but Plinka hasnt cofirmed this yet.

Maybe a merchant can test this, tents are cheap, if it hasn't already been done.

What about this:
Say a master entertainer places a cantina or theater whatever - then TRANSFERS the structure to a non entertainer....
Anyone know if this works? Not like you have surrender any skill to test this one...
I want out of my boring Guild Hall as a store, and want to use a cantina or theater as my new storefront.

I am pretty sure that this has been tested, some Holo entertainers placed a cantina somewhere. And then dropped the master title, the cantina is there to date, as far as I know of. I am thinking that the devs are going to fix this right up, and a lot of cantinas are going to go poof because people are no longer masters.

Would it be possible for the necessary profession correspondent to test this? From what I understand correspondents are able to get xp at will from terminals on TC. They could place then drop the skills and then give us results and then reget the xp from terminal and retrain.

My expierience:
One of your citizens was master musician ... placed the cantina ... droped the profession on some wierd "Holocron" campaign ... Cantina is still there
Transfering the structure to a person who doesn't have the necesary skill to place it doesn't work ... you get a System Message that the person in question doesn't have XX Skill.

We had a cantina placed by a dancer who dropped it almost immediately after. I didn't notice any change...

yeah ive tested it right before a holo combat medic dorpped hte hospital i asked him to hold the hospital for he city i didnt mind if it poofed so i had to test it so i gave him hte theed he placed it and then right after gave it up.
As for transfering it wont let you it give you a message that hte person needs to have master X skill.
