Thread: Petition- Change WarMaster to Warlord
I know it may seem trivial... but I would like to change the politician title for the Martial Policy Tree from "WarMaster" to "Warlord".
1) WarMaster seems too close to Swordsmen's "BattleMaster".
2) Warlord seems a bit more appropriate, since we "govern" our cities/forts/tribes.
I'm sure the developers could change it in 5 minutes. Who agrees?

Won't happen. We riflemen get the title of Hunter in one of our trees...and that is a scout title. So far neither have been changed.
And if I were to ask for something to be altered it would be master politician...I mean come on give us something more interesting. I'd like Pundit for master letting us just be politician at novice. I really hate that master novice crap, come up with something novel and interesting and quit halfassing it.
ohh man i can just see it i KNOW someone will do it!:
Tusk'en
(Warlord)
As a name lol
That is an interesting suggestion given that we are within the Star Wars universe. I personally prefer the title of WarMaster, but to support the comment here, many of the Imperial villians of the post ROTJ era books (and pre-Vector Prime) are Warlords. It would make a lot of sense if there were Warlords in the game- particularly Imperial ones - during our time so that there would be a few to survive the New Republic resurgance. That would explain where they came from and what they were doing during the civil war. This would not jive with the back history of every Warlord character, but it strikes me as being very much in the spirit of the Star Wars universe to have this title in use.
I would prefer being a WarMaster, but maybe that is just the Rebel in me talking. I wish you luck in your petition regardless.

True. I'm an Imperial Warlord on Tarquinas. (In as much as I am the commanding officer of a very large Imperial military-based guild.) I just thought it would be nice to get official recognition for that fact. But I doubt I will. *sigh* Although I did get some recognition in this incident:
My men and I walk into a Rebel town (of course, they were all covert)and ask (command)the Mayor to give us food and shelter.
He yells and obsenity.
I reply "Refusal to quarter Imperial troops is a serious offense."
He yells, "You are not an Imperial Officer! You are a rouge warlord and not welcome here."
lol.... needless to say we made ourselves at home anyway.
