My current mayor told me that no taxes go into the treasury. Is that true or only some? He heard that somewhere and decided to drop all taxes but one would hope sony wouldn't let a bug that huge pass. Anyway my alt is in a town that is looking for a way to up the treasury and looking to raise taxes. Which is fine by me if the taxes won't go up in thin air.

Check the bug thread in this forum for specifics, but the only thing solidly confirmed as not working is sales tax. There are a few suspicions about income tax working at 100%, but there is revenue coming in from that as well.

Shuttle taxes, garage fees, and property tax are all good to go.
