I think Sandbox (and most of the server) is abandoned because of the horrible spam generated by the server (the "channel information complete" message probably appears every time someone logs in, logs out, or zones), and I can't handle staying on the server long
we did get to rank 3 this week, and I picked up architect and built a few city items from some donated components from Zina. I put up a cloning center to aid with the testing, a garage, and a few gardens and decorations. Scipionus put down a cantina, and I might place a hospital if noone else is interested.I went and tested property tax to put the rumor to rest. it works, even with the post CU code. I turned property tax off and sales tax on, so hopefully I can test that if the server stops spamming me
so how was your city this week?

hi guys
my city that i built from scratch just got lvl 4 on gorath, i have placed all the important things but do either of you have any tips on placing the mission terminals straight lol it is the one thing that i simply cannot do

Terminals will place in the direction your character is facing when you use the command to place the terminal. Just line your character up the way you want the terminal to be and then place the terminal.

Scavengers Haven on Bloodfin is now rank 3, and (was) 3 people from rank 4. Lost 5 people in the rollback, so awaiting emails from them while I continue to add new guild members to the city.
Also because of the rollback, some changes I made to the layout of the city (including the purchase of a second guild hall, so I could move the original one without disbanding the guild) were all undone.
That's my week in a nutshell.. A bunch of work, undone (which I will do again). On the up(?)side,saved 80K/week by removing the Medical Center specialty, which doesn't seem to work now that the CU is live.

Well, yesterday, I had to announce the end of Defiance. The city never really grew. (Partly my fault and partly the fault of certain guildmates of mine who were violently opposed to me having my own city.) And now with the CU, 4 of my 12 citizens are quitting the game. As one of my citizens put a lot of money into the city treasury, I'm going to keep the city hall up as long as I can, taking money out each day. Hopefully I'll have a chance to try running a city again someday.
