Bad enough that the footprints are outlandishly huge...

A citizen in my city has placed lottery droids for two weeks in the area in front of our shuttle (large enough for a medium house). I go to place one... and I'm too close to some object?

No no no no no no no no!

Please make the DEVs to understand> my city? I place those perks wherever I damned well please!

Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Pex said that he wanted to get the footprints reduced (and maybe eliminated) so they can be placed in Player Cities. It won't happen before the CURB goes live, but it's definitely on the schedule right after that.

I've had the same issue with putting ANYTHING in front of the shuttle. I'm in the same situation where I can place a house there, but no perk will seem to fit. I wonder if it's a shuttleport/perk issue?

I'm waiting for the citizen who placed the other lottery droids, one each week for the past two weeks, to come back on game.

If I find out that a citizen can place the lottery droid, but a mayor can't... som'body gonna have some serious 'splainin' to do!

I'd just like a jukebox that doesn't disappear if you place it, leave for half an hour and come back. Treated me to three bars of music and then vanished.

No doubt. Last weekend alone I had 4 vanished after coming back to the building they were in. Luckily enough CRS-Jennifer seems to be aware of the problem and refunded me the money. Other CSR's, not so much in the loop.

Yes, that has been my experience also. I did have one that lasted for 8 hours, but there were people listening to it all that time.

I traded the lottery droid deed (which I didn't think was possible) to the citizen who had placed them before and granted her zoning.

She placed it with no problem!!

OK, next week I'll get another droid and have someone grant me (The =Mayor=!!!) zoning rights and see if it will work.

If it does... mad as a wet hen is a phrase that comes to mind.

OK, it's officially a bug.

I had a militia member grant =me= zoning, and I was able to place the lottery droid.

Without the zoning I got a message that I was too near some object and I should move away... instead of:

"We are sorry, but even though you are the mayor of this town we are not going to allow you to place player event perks unless you get someone to grant you zoning rights"

Bug ticket 3452065

I am assuming that =all= event perks are just as FUBAR. Could any of you test this out in your towns?

See if one of your citizens (with zone rights) can place a perk. Then you try in the same spot. If you get the message "You are to close to an object. Move away" ignore it. It's not the correct message but it's the =only= message.

Get someone to grant you {Yes! You! The MAYOR!!!!!} zoning rights, then try again.
