Thread: TAXES for the city from vendors NOT going into the city ..
Was the tax percentage even adding into your Merchant listings anymore? When I checked it after the GWVS came out, I couldn't even get it to do that.

I checked on TC-ep3, and the money went to the merchant. feel free to check it again though

well, publish 9, but I guess for a lot of folks that's as good as the beginning of time
lol That's before I started paying attention to anything to do with player cities or politicians, so it's close enough to the beginning of time.
I know the money was going to the Merchant. What I meant is that the last time I tested it, the vendor interface didn't even add the percentage on to the item price. For example, when I set the tax to 10% and had a Merchant list an item for 100 credits it showed on the vendor as being sold for 100 credits rather than 110 (100+10%). All the money, of course, went to the Merchant then.

hrm, well what I did was set it to 10%, then I had to wait for a merchant to log on at the same time I do to put something on their vendor for more than 1cr. the price was listed with the sales tax, and all the money went to the merchant.
sometimes the tax takes a while to take effect, maybe that's why the item was still 100 credits?
Could be. I'll play with it some more and see what happens. It's still not working, but better to have as much information on it as we can get.
