This isn't important but just curious. I haven't seen anyone run delivery missions, but was curious if the NPCs spawn in your town, or if you have to go to an NPC city.

So far Delivery missions spawn a start NPC in your town but don't allow local delivery missions. Additionally I have yet to see a Delivery mission from an NPC city spawn a delivery point inside a PC City.

I have seen the same as the previous poster. I see npc's created in town to start the quests but no local delivery missions are offered and I have never yet gotten a mission from the only npc city on lok that went back to my city. It is possible they may be some how tied to shuttleports so I will test again once our shuttleport is active later this week.

I have a feeling I know why this is. Some time back, they announced they'd increased the number of NPC delivery locations, so that the NPCs didn't pile up in the same place. Before this, there was a lot more of the thing where you went to deliver, and found four NPCs in your waypoint. In other words, it seems that the NPC that starts a delivery mission can be anywhere (wandering in the wilderness, randomly placed in your city etc) but that the end NPCs spawn in pre-set points. A player city wouldn't have any of these pre-set points, only an NPC city.

Some of the other missions, that don't require such a thing, seem to work with player cities. Like entertainers getting missions to perform in PC cantinas.

Haven't tested to see if we can get in-town delivery missions but I have been able to get Dancer missions at our local cantina.. though at a low frequency

Yes, they spawn in your town. No, you cannot get delivery missions within your city. You have to travel to an NPC city. When you abort the mission, the NPCs go away shortly thereafter. When I got the mission terminals, I got two delivery missions then aborted them, only to take two more; lather, rinse, repeat. I wanted to fill my city with NPCs but they would despawn So no I'll have people in the city take these missions and hold on to them when we have city events.
