Thread: Non-consensual PVP is the issue

On the main boards someone said that the game said there would not be any non-consensual PVP. He was very upset.....


So I think the devs said uh-oh we screwed the pooch. We allowed player cities to be near or even encircle POIs. We can't allow people to not get to POIs, that would be wrong.


Personally, I think moving the warn timer to 2 minutes or even 5 would be sufficient. But now the militia is pointless.


I don't know if they can fix this now. It would either require moving the POI or moving your town. Then add a warning to the city limits that says "There is a chance that you could be attacked by the city militia, if you do not wish to be involved in any PVP do not enter this town".

I have seen a few posts refering to this, funny thing is everyone still has a choice (from the start of city warn). There is a horrible lack of understanding that people have for this game, so they know nothing better then to whine about things. Instead of getting themselves educated in the game they feel they can cry nerf and derseve to be heard.


People should have some idea of what they complain, whine, cry ect about before posting about nerfing something. (wonder if they all even know what a nerf is or if they saw someone else say it first and used the word)

The problem with this is that it makes cities into battlefields. As player city caps raise, can you imagine nagivating around so many battlefields if you are neutral?

thats why player cities should be limited to the current number. If the devs want to give more player cities then they should add more planets.

Every place you go isn't a battlefield and it won't be if those warned just walk away. Where are you coming up with this stuff?


We are playing in a battlefield, no one was safe at this point in the movie and it should stay true to it.

Cho, that is true, but 90% of cities won't harrass you. It is just the one or two bad seeds ruining it for all of us.

Pardon my french, but the idea that /citywarn is non consensual is a load of crap. You dont HAVE to go to a city, its optional. Even those claiming the cloning centers sucked them into a city non-censually could have cloned somewhere, avoiding the issue.

The issue is that many of us put our cities right next to or surrounding POIs. I agree with you that they don't need to come into our cities. But if going through a city is the only way to get to the POI what then? That is why I mentioned they may have to move pois, or move cities to allow access to POIs.


I agree with you, once they enter a city, they should consider it almost the same as entering a battlefield.
