I remember the patch note from not long ago 'Houses decay slower' or something similar.

Well I've been watching my neighbor's house (who's been gone for a couple months). I'm admin and have been letting it decay since it's prime real estate.

Well it hit 0 maintenance about 5(?) weeks ago and last night it finally popped.

While they used to take days to decay (less than a week), they now take substantially longer.
