The city I'm living in has a problem. The mayor has gone awol. Its been better than a month since he last logged in (that we know of) and we are all getting concerned about it. Actually we were concerned a while ago, now we are acting.
We have a replacement mayor ready to go but I am not certain how many votes will be needed to "usurp" the mayorship. I thought the vote was week by week but when I checked, it was 47 to 7. I know 54 people had not voted and this was just a list of who had overall support.
Do we have to get that support below the challengers, or will a majority of the current vote put the new person in power?
last ditch, anyone know if a crs could "oust" the absent mayor?
Thanks
Dolman

You need 28 citizens to vote for your replacement. CSRs are not supposed to assist with this matter, though they don't all seem to know this ...

something to think about.... consider the "inactivity" is turn off.. you might want to think about having 27 citizens that are "inactive" since they are not voting (assuming you manage to get 28 votes to replace him)
all else fail.. I hope you have people who are active to place new homes and get people to vote for you.

Many different threads on this.
As it currently stands, you need a majority vote from ALL the registered citizens - in your case 28.
I would REALLY contact every citizen individually to get their vote or at least, to get a real count and idea of the citizens that WILL back you upfrom those that are inactive or dormant. Then, happy recruiting.
