I was talking with several people about starting a city and one of them said that no more cities could be started on the major planets of FarStar. It there some way to verify whether cities can be started stillon like Naboo or Corellia? Is there a website or updated shart that shows planet population/expansion and the limits there in? I read in one post about the higher level cities not available ( I think it was level 4). This is a resource I need to be acquainted with before starting to be a politician. If I can't put up a city why be a politician and waste the SP?
Thanks for any information.

currently.. there are no "definite" in-game system that can do this...
you can do it a couple of ways.. via "world map"
check how many cities have banks (usually level 2 allows banks) or even look at what basic trainers are where.. (if they don't have banks) record your findings.. if you find trainer and a bank near the same area.. that is one city
also most level 4+ have shuttle.. that is a good way to see how many cities are up with shuttles...
Garages also might show up (didn't check) and need a level 2 to place them.

Hey there folks! Before anyone suggests it, I have read the FAQ's. The authors have done a heck of a job in it's construction.
My question is somewhat simple. Is there a method, short of trying to place a city hall, that allows a player to deternine if the planet will accept another city?
A second question, probably should be asked elsewhere, is there a list that details which house styles may be built on which planets?
Last but by no means least. With the upcoming purge, I can understand the angst that many politicians may be feeling. If anyone on the Starsider server has a city on Naboo that they are concerned about, contact me ingame (Eacham Graeme0 if you would like to try to combine forces.
Thanks, I appreciate the help.

Firstly the house guide can be found here - http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com/content.jsp?page=Player%20Houses%20Index
On your question on planet capacity I haven't heard of anyway to determining it other than checking the planet capacity which I will find a link for in a moment and counting the cities and finding there level.
Unfortunatly I can't help you on the last question.

In order:
1.) No. You can try looking at the Planetary map and counting shuttleports, banks, mission terminals, etc. but it's not an exact science.
2.)Yes. From the advanced City Guide:
The three types of buildings are as follows:
Corellia Style: Corellia and Talus
Naboo Style: Naboo, Rori, Dantooine
Tatooine Style: Tatooine, Dantooine and Lok
3.) I'm not on Starsider.
