Thread: Contested Elections Anywhere?!

I'm just curious to see if there are any cities out there that have regularly contested elections for mayor.
Sidenotes: When I was mayor of a city (50+ people), the only opponents I ever had came when I decided to step down as mayor and begged for someone to take my place. So far, the only thing remotely close to any political contest I've seen in this game is on Naritus currently and the challanger is losing quite badly.
I ask in the hope that there is at least one city out there that has been successful in this regard so that I can figure out what they did and how to replicate it.
