Okay, had an awful bug happen that I woke up to find today

Yesterday morning was the election (yay politician exp) and with the election, maintanence payment on my city. Now usually my habit is at the end of the week to see how much the treasury needs for maintanence, and then top it off so to say to make sure we can pay all the bills every week. Since cities are pretty much the world's largest money sink, and I get stuck with the bill most of the time, but I can live with it...

Well so I log in this morning, and get a message from last night 2 hours before midnight a big long list of "city structure damaged" and then maintanence payed again? Two maintannces within 24 hours after the election is very bad for me, specially since I lost aboiut 3/4 of my city decorations. I am hoping the CSRs can help me, will see what they can do. And just sending a warning out to everyone who has an election coming up to be careful of a double maintanence payment.

Yeah, we've had this happen to us in the past, but not recently.

File a ticket with the CSRs, give as much detail as humanly possible, and maybe, just maybe, they'll be able to review the logs they have access to, verify that you were, in fact, charged double maintenance, and then reimburse the City Treasury.

Good luck. Might want to make sure you have extra cash in there for next time though, just to avoid any more damage to your important structures.

we had it happen in SiN CiTY also this week and last week, i thought it did last week but then because i deleted the first email i couldnt prove it, so this week i kept the first one and within 18 hours the next maintaince came out. i contacted the csr's and they reviewed the files, and replaced the maintaince.

i also tracked the property tax this week, and our donations, as far as i can tell the property taxes are not being put into the treasury at this time. ive got a news ticket started on this one.

We've paid maintenance twice in one week 2 times in the last month in Mos Vegas as well. The city paid maintenance Feb 27 and March 1. I did get a refund from the CSR for the extra payment. This also changed our update cycle from Sunday to Tuesday and shortened our last election which concluded onMarch 15 instead of March 20.

When I logged in today I saw that we paid maintenanceagain yesterday after paying it the day before. So I guess our update cycle will be shifted to Wednesday and this election cycle will only be 2 weeks instead of 3.

Luckily since I haven't been mayor very long I still save all my emails so I can verify everything. I also copy all bug reports and tickets and paste them into emails to myself to keep a record of everything.
