We've not heard ANYting from you on the matter of Player Cities. The only indication we have that you even aknowlege our existence is the indroduction of the 6 week citizen freeze. And where the heck did THAT come from? It sure as shoot'in wasn't from the player community!

Where are we going with cities, SOE... Tell us, please.

In trying not to sound too anxious or unappreciative I have to say I am curious as to the direction player cities will be taken in. Aside from the usual "to act as centers of game play for players" as we all know that already. We (well I) am curious as to what future additions the game developers have planned for player cities and mayors?

I would like to know this as well. There are definitely things that could be done to make the profession and player cities as a whole better.

This is just awful. We're such a dejected bunch right now. The powers that be really need to take notice before it does any more damage.

You have to look at the major work they are doing on Droid Invasion, Jedi redesign, Space Expansion, Combat re-balance/design, these are all big, big projects, leaving the dev team room, I'd say, for one profession pass per month. Since we just got our big moment in the spotlight in November with the initial implementation of player cities, you have to put us down as months, not weeks, from seeing a major pass on our profession. That's just my perspective, not from the mouths of any of the devs, but just what I see looking at the same stuff you all have access to as well. To start thinking about radical or major changes or enhancements to player cities or the politician profession I don't think is realistic at this point, and I don't want to artificially raise your expectations to think that it is to be waited for with held breath.

Ahem, so we should be looking at around the summer/fall of 2006 for the politician revamp right?

Wow, I've been doing a lot of expectation setting today.

What I'm hoping for:

**Get Master Politician abilities, industrial and scientific societies, back in place. Get a balance pass done on our specializations. Much of this comes from the feedback that I gathered from all of you back in January regarding your use of specializations.

**See the implementation of player city garages in one of the next two monthly updates.

**Get us some city financial reports.

Honestly, at this point, pretty much everything else looks long term to me. I have to agree with you, that is why I am dropping just about all my skills. The two combo specializations they had were not worth the cash so I am not worried about being a master. If they change it back to a master politician being able to choose any 2 specializations I would keep master.

Bajeezus, have the devs take a look at who has attained master politician and what % are actually keeping it. That should show them there is a major problem. But since we are so new I doubt we will get any love till this fall.

I would like them to take a look at the architect profession which I think would help out cities. New city only housing schematics, more decoration schematics for architects.....
