Hi just a quick silly question.

What is best to get first - Militia or Bank. I have enough XP for one but not both. (I intend to get tourism 1 and then spend the rest on either militia or bank).

The city is now level 2

I had heard that /cityban is not working - is that right?

Thanks

I like the bank, especially at an early stage of building the city, when you may have players moving in, and being able to use the bank makes that house move so much more convenient for them.

/ban is working. /warn is not. At this point, militia is less than fully useful.

I am mayor of a peaceful (read unfactioned) city, so for us it was much more useful to place the bank. Granted if you are not around town much, the militia could help grant zoning rights in your absense. A wise move with tourism 1 (unless of course you don't want to be found), it's best to get on the map as early as possible as this does aid in the recruitment and business aspect of city management.

Of course this is just my 2 credits

Howdy

I personally would go for militia for the sole reason that those people you put in the militia can grant zoning rights....Save you alot of time and less frustrating for new citizens....I dont see the real need for a bank unless you all sell a lot of stuff in person in your city.... There is the /tip feature

Bank.

Militia can easilly wait another week.. and if you have zoning enabled, it will give you a better (personal) handle on what's going where...

bank if you are in a remote place (like on lok when the only entrance is at nym's stronghold) and you need to move a lot of stuff.. bank helps a lot (just drop at bank at Nym and pick up at cities etc..

I'd go with Militia just because its easier to be able to have people help drop houses when you aren't around if you know that your friends have zoning rights.

And with any luck you'll be able to get enough people to drop that you can get the bank next week.

When making skill leveling decisions for my city,I address an email to citizens and ask for their opinion.

The secret to a successful politician is to listen (or be seen to listen) to your electorate, and make them feel involved with the growth of the city.
