My idea for a fix to the currentcity/citizen removalissue is this. Isuggest that SOEintroduces another feature, an account that is cancelled and has gone for 6 weeks without the person logging in and reactivating should have all its houses/harvestors and items within, auto redeeded and placed in a special "bag of holding" until that person reactivates then hecould get 2 weeks to empty the bag and replace his house. That way he looses nothing and the cities dont loose space and we get rid of the true ghost towns.

Kinda like an idea I had for the deeds of cancelled characters to be redeeded to the city hall treasury.
This would only let they city keep the deed to the structure, the items would poof.
I say the items should poof because of database issues, but the deed should be no problem.

The Theory that items cause clutter in the database is rubbish, SOE has no intention of removing houses atm wich is a clear indication it has nothing to do with the items in the DB, houses and the items withinconsumes a hundred times more database space then the cities do.

My DB comment had nothing to do with SOE's current DB burden.
I was just saying, where does all the contents of the house go if the deed for the house goes to the treasury (in my example)
This bag of holding idea is good, but imagine how full it would get?
People would exploit it for storage purposes, imho.

make it a container that only the SERVER can put items in, but the owner (player) can take the item out... this way there isn't an item count limit. This "bag of holding" will only be use when an account becomes inactive for 6 week or cancelled.
When a character relogs, The bag will be inventory and must be deal with before can get any more items (thus his/her inventory will always be full until the "bag of holding" disappear.
