Ok, I know I will probably regret sending this post, but I figure that its worth a shot. I have mastered all the other 32 professions, and was wondering if any mayors wanted to take a vacation and let me master politician. I would take an active role in city development, and would also donate a substantial amount to the treasury. I must admit that once I master the profession I will most likely want to give up my role as mayor and move on and experience one or more of the professions I grinded through a bit more thouroughly. Its just that its really the only thing in the game I have yet to try, and it would be cool to say that I did them all. Anyways if anyone is interested, let me know. I hope that anyone who thinks im a jerk for even asking will go easy on me as I am just wondering what if any answers I will get. Thanks and sorry to anyone I offended, I know that creating and growing a city is hard work and takes alot of time, I don't want a "quick" way to grind, but its so tough to start from scratch. I hope, even if you think its rediculous, that you can see where im coming from.

actually, let me try to address some of the concerns in your post:
you'll probably have better luck at your galaxy forum. i've heard of many existing cities that need a new mayor because their existing mayor is tired of politian or is MIA. the difficulty of electing a new mayor isn't how willing the old mayor is, but how active the citizens are. same with getting out after you've mastered politian... it's not as easy as it sounds.
you don't have to be the mayor to gain politician xp. as long as you're a citizen of a city and is at least a novice polician, you can register to run. you still get xp even if you don't win the election.
