Another idea separate from my first thread here today (I have plenty of work to do, but an excess of caffeine has the neurons firing).
Advanced trainers. No additional training abilities, but these guys should come with some scenery not unlike the trainers on newbie worlds that have animals with Scout, ranger and CH trainers, Emdee droids with Docs and Medic trainers, instruments with musician trainers, and so forth.
Double the cost and have them act like placeable structures, but please let us have them. Add some eyecandy to a player city.

While you're add it, add a kickback to city hall. Why do we only get income from the shuttle (assuming the city supports one) and garage (ditto) when there are trainers, terminals, cloning centers, cantinas, hospitals and more to pay for?

I like the ideas! Can't be hard to do. The objects are already in the game. Currently I have trainers standing around light posts or in gardens - grouped by what they train.

that's a great idea
i would also *love* the usage count that someone else suggested in another thread, and prehaps have part of someone's training cost go to the city treasury (it can either be fixed like the shuttle port, or a % like the garage)
... but then, i'll be happy with a city ledger. it's pretty hard to keep track of my city's income without it
