Interesting idea. I imgaine a CSR will remove the lamp posts and give you a warning. If you do it again, yeah you might get banned.

Lampost blockage of building entrances was decreed an exploit, mostly cuz of people using it to stop base destroyers from getting inside a base and setting the self-destruct.

It's easy to get around it with the vehicle catapult bug.

I know another mayor that did this. A CSR came and removed the streetlamps and warned the mayor not to do it again or else face his account being banned.

I'm sure you could find a few willing individuals to temporarily put some noisy smoking personal mineral harvesters near the front door of the troublemakers

I can only imagine how pleased the CSR's would be to have to resolve this situation...

I have had to deal with some brutal trouble-makers in my time and was only able to succeed with the help of friends and allies from all over the galaxy (this was a skillfullyattempted take-over executed by three players). In the end though, the city was much stronger for it.

So get your citizens out from in front of their holo-players and make an event of out of it. You'll likely end up having fun with the whole thing.
