Thread: City Mission Terminal revenue?
I'm all for things that willhelp generate revenue for player cities other than TAXES. I'd like the same surcharge that can be applied to garages and shuttleport to alsobe applied to clone centres. I think it would be a great idea to have 100 credits from each mission going to the Treasury. Maybe even have a 50 credit (or more) surcharge for using Player City trainers. It cost 1000 credits just to place one. If you didn't have a trainer, oftentimes they would have to shuttle to one in another city.
- how many mission terminals are there
- how many trainers are there
- is there a faction mission terminal
- do you have shuttleport, Mall, repair garage, cloning center, Medical Centre, Cantina
It's "What are the TAXes"?
Seems like if bases get a cut of mission payout for maintenance, city terminals and trainers should give a cut to the city.
Can this feature be suggested to the devs if it hasn't been already?
I think you will find the devs are trying very hard to take cash out of the game after all the credit dupeing that went on. Cities are part of the in game money sink. As soon as the devs make cities self funding that money sink will be gone.
So although I agree with you that we do need it I think the devs wont agree for a while yet. Also I am of the feeling that they think there are way to many player cities in the game using up bandwith/storage/whatever. Making them expenssive means cities are born the devs drain the palyers of all their cash then the cities fall. In the end giving the devs both a cash sink and an easy way to limit city numbers.
Patch 9 is "meant" to have something called Player City Missions. We do not know what that means but it may be what your asking for. Patch 9 is now on the test center but I have not heard any mention of these missions and its possible it has been delayed.
