hehe, funny thing... Texxie actually pointed out this thread to me O.o right after I went outside of the forums to log into the game

I would like to see something along those lines implemented too, I don't know how soon I can squeeze that into our stack of requests and issues, but I'll do my best

edit: oh yeah, next time you should post your request (or a few words on it) in the title, since my name isn't nearly as catchy as ideas I read every thread already, so you should concentrate on getting your fellow politician's attention.

I'd love this. I don't doubt my citizens (i've known most of them from other games) but would love a little reminder to mail out thank yous.

Does anyone else have any comments on this? It would probably help those that dont have a good tax base to know if someone other than them are donateing to the hall or not.

We get a email for about almost everything else. In my opinion, this is very much needed and not too much to ask

I agree - this would be most useful.

The other way of doing this is the weekly financial report that has been discussed - with a full breakdown of income vs outgoings. So you know exactly how much has been taken in sales tax, income tax (who has paid etc.), shuttleport fees, garage fees and donations (who has donated) .... and possibly a clearer picture on the outgoings (as some people seem to have errors in the calculations there)

Marcus thats a great idea. I havent seen that thread, but something that resembles a basic spread sheet?

I would still like the email though just to try to keep things running smoothly. For smaller markets if you go by people donating to the hall to get yourself started, and you get emails about this, you might be able to save some things from taking damage, or even destroyed.

I guess our list of issues got overtaken by the 19 "NO" answers per week (or month .... lol)

but this is probably worth keeping alive until after JTL is implemented in case they have any spare 'bandwidth' to improve player cities and general politician issues.
