Thread: Can our City Hall be taken during an election?

I am hopiing someone can answer a few questions for me:
Currently our city is in the middle of a new vote...the mayor now doesnt appear to be too happy about an opponent....tho was perfectly happy to chose his/her replacement.I am wondering...is there a time during the election when the city hall cannot be picked up? Basically...we are a bit worried thatthe current mayor, who hasnt been around much...will pick up the city hall before the new election is over...putting it down somehwere else and taking away all of the hard work that we have put into the city over the last few months during said mayors absence.And if this happens...what can we do to keep our city up?Or...what can we do to prevent this? It seems that..said mayor is more into the power and control role as mayor rather then into it for the betterment of the city....?

he can destroy the city at any time up until he is voted out, until that time i'd just be real nice to him or her, cause in essence, he does have all the power.

tell him to go hug a root and get him to destroy the city hall, go buya new one and place it down where it was.... start over, you'll already have everything there in place. only thing you might get assed out on is the treasury funds, but hey.... you'll have control again

Can he drop the cityhall in another location, thus capping the planet again? Will we be able to drop a new one down if this happens and have the city back to the way it was ?

the city hall is destroyed when you pull it up, so if he wants to place another one he'll have to buy it.
when the city is gone, the free spot is fair game for anyone. if you do place a city hall in your old spot, you *will* need to start over with the 10 people in 24 hours, and go back up the ranks slowly.

Also: all the municiple buildings go poof with city hall including theatres, cantinas and med centers.

Youve got to be kidding me...I spent over 7 hours decorating the cantina...not to mention all the money that the things in it are worth..and the time the guild took to bring me things..it will just disappear? What kind of torture is that lol

the above structures you mentioned are player-owned and therefore won't poof when a city changes status for the worse.
