A month ago I was asked to take over as Mayor of a small city. There were not a lot of rules in place for the city and so far things had progressed well. Recently tho, it seems a policy for the use of city banning needs to be in place as a player was banned by a militia memeber and a few of the citizens disagreed with the way and reason for the ban. Can anyone offer me suggestions based upon what your city uses as banning policy. My feeling is there should be only very few reasons for an automatic ban and that perhaps incidences in which one or two players feel someone should be banned should be reviewed by a select few in committee or some such, that no one who has the authority to ban should use it at their whim whenever and to whomever they choose.

Trying to keep peace and maintain order :} Thanks in advance for any guidance you may give.

if you want to look at this situation from a political standpoint as part of the development of your city, see it as i do. I as a mayor never used city ban no matter what, this reason being because, that causes the person who is banned not to want to come back. This effects income in your city becasue that person now wont pay taxed on shuttleport, garage, or any other taxed item. such as sales tax. I know im kinda typing a run-on sentence, but if you think abuot it, the more traffic in your city, the more money the city brings in through sales and taxes, so i would suggest not using city ban for any reason at all. most people just laugh at it. got any more questinos at all, feel free to PM me, im open for questions
