Can anyone tell me what the xp cap is?

I think it is 100k if so I think its terrible. It should be 200k

The cap is 20x your highest learned xp skill, not 2x like all other classes. Check the FAQ above this post on this forum.

Why? it's not like you can use the xp for any other profession. The difference from saving xp to learn a skill and just earning the xp to learn that same skill is the same. either you earn the xp and spend it as soon as you get it or you save it up and train multiple boxes at the same time. Either way you still spend the same amount of time getting the xp. Neither is any faster or more beneficial than the other. Unlike other professions where saved up xp can be used in other profession, polotician xp can't. Plus if you drop polotician and relearn it later, you lose all your saved up xp the minute you earn more xp at novice. The xp cap in polotician and all professions that have specific xp such as ID, Chef, Musician, Dancer and Squad Leader means absoulutely nothing. Why save up xp when You will just lose all that caps. THe only benefit I see is if you only drop a few boxes to get more skill points to use somewhere else temporarily and then come back and use the saved up xp to retrain the surrendered boxes....but if you surrender all....the xp goes poof anyway, so why save.....well all of this is only relevant if xp works for polotician like the other professions.....maybe polotician xp never goes poof...in that case.....capped xp means everything.
