current we had one but it was removed for basicly being a waste of lots....our cantina is used alot and I could'nt be happier...

here's my idea...basicly allow Dancers and Musicians performing inTheators to give people Mass Buffs....large groups can get buffed before going hunting(or raiding)...

At least it'll give the theator some use...people will be there for 5 minutes (or however long it takes to get buffed)

Being a Mayor and a ArchitectI'd hafta say the Theator isa waste lots and materials....

You can get group buffs by having everyone in the group with the Master Dancer/Musican

They just need to enclose it and it can be an alternative to a cantina. I was hoping to have our master musician get a theatre since I know everyone will grab cantinas but when I saw them...well shocked is the only way I can describe it. To think some developers are that alienated from the game makes you think.

oh well...then how about a 25-50% boost to buffs done in theators...they need something.

One of the biggests requests for theaters has been the ability to drop things on stage so that you can make a set for staging performances, plays, etc. That would help all by itself from the feedback I've read from most entertainers interested in the theater.

I must agree theaters need to have some sort of specific use to make them a bit more appealing. Personally I've never even seen one in game and wasn't planning on having one placed for the same reasons (lot and maint sink). I did like the idea of a higher buff being able to be done by entertainers and musicians in theaters suggested by Ragnoroah although I would say even doubling what they can currently d0 would be in line with the kind of buffs doctors are giving out.

Or a simpler way for it to become usefulwould simply to make it civic. Change the name from Theatre to Meeting Hall and let a mayor drop it for relatively similiarmaintenance. That way we can have a place to give speeches or have QnA sessions with citizens and look cool while doing it. If they ever add in patio furniture we'd be able to at least half assedly decorate it. May not be a great concession but it beats the nothing that it is now.

I agree that is a useless structure at the moment. I would hope they did not intend for people sitting in the audince to be isolated from the performers. What forum would be the bestto complain about this in?

Err... How about holding events and performances there - that is what most theatres are used for!

We have a large number of events planned for ours - I suspect the usefulness of a theatre is dependent on how strong your community is and how much imagination you have got.

For example, we are holding Fight Club in ours next week, and it will be used for our Forthcoming Fashion show, Creature Show and 5ON 5 Team Tag.

This is not an issue for the Devs - if you can't work out what to do with one, don't have it!

Well most theatres that I've been to have seats and props on stages, or at least a chair and spot light. Yes you can create uses for it however those uses are more or less the exact same as sitting on a hillside. And honestly unless your brawling there is not enough space in a theatre for me to actually fight. I"m a rifleman and I need a little bit more space then it provides.

Just wondering if any other mayors have put lights up on the stage. I did, I put 3 style 2 red street lights, makes it look really cool at night. Just throwing some ideas out.
