FYI,
My town on Gorath on Lok just had a double election the past two nights. Kind of sucks to fork out 225k 2 nights in a row. I'm putting in a CSR ticket, but just thought it was important to note that the system's not fixed where that multi-election bug is concerned...

Here too ... Gorath Tatooine ... it's been happening every weekend now ... I just had the twelfth unaccounted update ... at about 550k per update that's over 6.5 million credits from my citizens
Placed a ticket last week .. .response was that they looked into our treasury and saw 2 donations by CSRs and enough money for the city not to go bank rupt ... but it's still taking away the money and exceded all previouse reimbursments by CSRs ... so let's see what they'll answere this time

Yep, same thing here. Two weeks in a row. The first week they reimbursed the cash, so I'm hoping they do it again. The other problem is that this now pushes our elections forward by a day again every time it happens.

What causes it to take that much money? I'm curious. I haven't seen it happen in my city, and I'd like to know what I can do to avoid it happening.
Thanks

You can't really avoid it ... it's a bug that "ocasionaly" happens .. apparantly always repeating in the same cities.
You can only look onto your city terminal after every scedualed update and check if it still says "error" for "time to next update" although you've gotten XP and paid Maintenance ... then you can expect to get another update 18-36h after the scedualed one ... so you can take down all gardens to save maintenance ...
Other than that I don't know .. I don't want to cancel our specialisation (that allone is 125k / update) since it would take a week until it is active again. A metropolis costs a standard of 130k ... trainers, terminals and decorations make up another good 100k ... but since setting them anew costs almost as much as the weekly maintenance there's not much you can save here.

yucky... I guess I can be thankful that I have not had any issues in my city yet. We've been running smoothly since Patch day.
