No
The reason for this is, as I believe, that you could delete or lose the bazaar with all the items in it because a bazaar is not (like a bank) planet specific, but bound to a region or even one certain point in the game.

Any good city should have a mall, those are better than bazaars. NPC cities do not have malls, thats why they have bazaars.

Why not make it so that you can only post/purchase from a city baazar terminal, but the Merchant can withdraw/retrieve their items from anywhere, or the closest NPC city from the player city. This would solve the problem of a mayor removing the terminal. The merchants can still retrieve the items to sell if a different market.
It would sort of be the same idea they did with the safety deposit box. You can open you box in any player town. But you have to start it in a NPC city.
Just a thought.

I agree, we might be turning our PA Hall into a mall. Hopefully we can get people used to going inside them to look for merchants.

Adding the ability to courier goods would enable this to work, because it would require that goods are kinda stored centrally and if a terminal is ripped up then the goods all go to the nearest bazaar terminal perhaps ?

Personally I much prefer the use of merchant tents. MUCH easier to find and obviously using them for their intended purpose. Our cities central square has the bank and 4 tents in it and makes finding our major vendors a doddle.

I have arranged the city center to include 2 PA halls(one for the guild and the 2nd is the mall) the city and the shuttleport on all 4 sides, the bank is in the middle of them all. The PA hall mall is clearly labeled and no one seems to have any problem finding it. The problem with merchant tents is that they dont place very well, especially on a hilly tatooine. It looked a mess with tents, the tents dont even look very nice. the PA hall is big, bold and all the vendors are clearly seen from any part of the mall.

OUCH 18 lots just on guild halls... oh ang on you mention tatoine. Well with their uber cheap halls I guess you can cope with two. Although I wouldn't call tat hilly. Most city's are on flat wastelands. Try corriella, now THAT'S hilly ,).
On Talus our 4 tents ( which are nicely arranged ) take up 4 lots, which I have split accross people. A single guild hall takes up 9 and is a struggle. I couldn't run a second even if I wanted to.
