blah, stupid forums.
Well, what if a Mayor goes in-active? Does their citizenship get revoked? Do they lose Mayor status? What do you think the Dev's will implement, and what would you like to see instead?

/bump... because I'm wondering if the Devs will revoke a Mayor citizenship from town? Will they remain a mayor? What happens to the city..

If we get a dev response on any of these inactivity changes, I think I might just faint in suprise... we've been clamoring for it for weeks now
So, it looks like we might be finding these things out the hard way, as usual.
The latest patch notes today though are saying that the timer is 6 weeks, so that is something to note.

Yes apparently the players are going to have to figure out the mechanics of this change. The devs won't touch it, and our correspondent has gone mysteriously silent on the subject (not even an "I don't know but I tried to find out").

Maybe our correspondent has been inactive for over 6 weeks and has had his forum priveledges revoked?

God I hope so! We have an afk mayor that is unreachable and who's house just disappeared because of maint. I can only hope that in six weeks the tattered remains of our city will have enough of us left to begin to put things back together again. That'll be a full two months or more from the time this problem started that we were unable to bring in a new mayor or change anything about the city. As this is going to cost our guild many friendships I can only think that this awful mess is actually the PLAN after the horrible roll out of player cities and the planet caps.
