I know that recently there was a bug with the exp given to the politician, however, I doubt that it was fixed.
This past Sunday, we had our election, and I was elected again, being the only one running makes it easier for me to win.. lol.
Anyway, to the point, although we are very small, only 15 people at this time and growing, I should have received 1500 exp, I did NOT receive them.
I am currently 1-0-1-1, we've had 4 elections thus far, and our city started with 12 citizens and is now to 15.
I have 900 exp points on reserve right now.. here's the math for you all
1st election: 1200 exp,- spent 1000 exp and was 0-0-1-0==== 200 reserve exp
2nd election: 1200 exp.- spent 1000 exp and was 0-0-1-1 ==== 400 reserve exp
3rd election: 1500 exp.- spent 1000 exp and was 1-0-1-1 ==== 900 reserve exp
4th election: 1500 exp.- spent 0 exp and am still 1-0-1-1 ===== 900 reserve exp
As you see, I should have received 1500, yet I did not.. that is my current status, even now, nothing has changed from the 1st of February, to the 8th, when we had our election. I have put in a ticket to the CSR, only to have them reply:
*We have check our records and you received your Experience of 1500 points on Sunday, February 8th as you should have. Because we show that you have received them, we can not give you any experience. Should you not have the experience, please contact us again over this matter.*
Mind you that is not a direct quote, but pretty close to it.
I have since replied to that CSR, and informed him of the same math that I am showing you above. Had I gotten that 1500 exp on the 4th election as I should have, I would either be 1-1-1-1 with 1400 exp reserve, or at the very least right now at 2400 exp on reserve. However, I can not even promote to 1-1-1-1.
Has anyone else had this same problem? How did you get it resolved? Here we are 2 days past the election, and I have NOT gotten any experience as of yet on my character. Do I wait for next Sunday, and either get what I'm supposed to get, double what I should have, or get hit again with the ABSOLUTELY NO EXPERIENCE POINTS again?
Would like some input here from the other politicians.. it would be nice to know if this has happened to you and if so, how did you finally get it rectified?
Thx in advance

On my first election, I was short 100xp. I wrote a CSR ticket, and they reimbursed me, even tho it took them over a month to respond hehe.
My city has been alive since patch day. I have recieved all my xp for every week, except that first week.
I suggest keep writing the CSR's back, they may be slow, but eventually, you'll get what's owed to you.

Our mayor had the same problem with experience points not being awarded about 2 weeks ago. He filed a CSR ticket and the issue was resolved 3 days later when he was reimbursed the 4000 experience points.

I had this happen, and got the same CSR reply. I replied to the ticket much as you did, and within the week a CSR caught up with me in game and reimbursed the XP.
The funny thing is, that the CSR who reimbursed me said there was no way for them to verify whether I got XP or not and that this was a one off thing, I would never be reimbursed again even if the same bug occured again!
Luckily I made it to master without getting hit with that bug agin, though I consistantly got 100xp less than (population*100) every election, and even on the reimbursement he gave me 100xp less.
