Was /citywarn introduced in this patch. The last time I heard the csr told me there is no immediate plans to bring back citywarn. So what good is a stronghold without that! And cityban does not do anything either. Whoopy you can ban them from going to your mission term. I can still use shuttle and clone? What is the point of banning too?

/citywarn would give the target a TEF allowing them to be attacked within the city. This was used by various groups to grief players from visitting POIs that people had placed cities next to. So by citywarning someone, you could keep them from the POI, example the Krayt Graveyard.
/cityban bans the target from using all city services. These include being able to enter the cloning facility, enter city hall, use the shuttle port (outgoing only, people banned can apparantly still fly in) /cityban really has no effect on anything as you cannot attack the person at all.
There does need to be a replacement or a rework of /citywarn of some fashion that cannot be used to simply keepeveryone away from your city. People have to remember there are players not involved in the GCW and players who are not combat professions who enter cities to shop and meet people. In every online game there are people who will abuse the game code as it is set for their amusement.
Before it was removed, /citywarn was used by groups to be able to attack absolutely anyone who entered their city for no reason at all except to grief them. Combined with the cloning center bug and people would clone over and over inside the city and be killed over and over.
It will be difficult for the devs to come up with some sort of security for cities that doesn't allow griefing. Oh yeah, and citywarn has not been put back yet. Don't expect it too soon. And Yes, I know this makes the militia and the Stronghold specializationuseless.

That is not entirely true. City ban does not stop me from entering clone center and flying out of a shuttleport. I was banned and right after that i walked into the clone center and then flew away. I also went there recently and bought a ticket and flew away again. So I do not think it does anything.

It does that in my city. Unless they broke it with this patch. /cityban was working last time I banned someone.

/cityban is useful. It keeps imperials from coming to use our facilities
Also keeps imperials from cloning in our facility so that when they attack they won't be able to keep jumping right back into battle after death.
