I have a mayor which hasn't been doing his job and alot of the citizens are upset and outraged at this.. We have a player that whats to run for mayor and has alot of support, but the current mayor has no knowledge of any of this. "IF" the runner up places to run for mayor in election, what happens? Can the current mayor say, "F this", and destroy the city hall and any other buildings he owns(cloning facility, medical lab, etc.)? Or does the town go into a lock down? Where no more building be placed or removed?
We want to keep the town and everything that we all worked hard for, but we are worried that if someone runs against the current mayor he can destroy it all with a click of a button.
Any feed back on this would be great!
Thank you

The currenty mayor can say F this.. He can go to the structure managment terminal of the city hall and imput the 6 digit code and destroy the city, along with every civic structure and any funds in the treasury.
If you can get a majority of the people at city hall 1 hr before the city update you could pull it off with out the incumbant knowing.
Also don't worry about any of your civic structures, mission terminals ect. They will all still exist even though your currenty mayor lacks the skills to place.
Any other questions?

Absolutely. At ANY point in time, the mayor can simply remove the city. Completely.
You have a choice, have someone run against him and vote him out without his knowing or tell him you don't want him to be a mayor any longer.
Personally, if you think this guy is capable of tearing down the city hall, I'd arrange to have the person run against him the night before the election and then secretly arrange everyone in the city to vote against him that night. On average, most people won't even notice someone is running against them. You're not notified or anything until you lose the election, then there is nothing that can be done about it.
btw, have you guys tried talking with your mayor first? Maybe he'll give it all up voluntarily once he realizes you guys want a lot more for the city.
eh.. just a thought.
