The Dev's did the right thing by giving us a cut of the shuttleport business, even tho its borked.

Why can't we get a cut of the cloning facility?

If I'm smart enough to put my city near a dangerous POI and get people to clone in my city, shouldn't it help pay for itself?

And I NEVER want trainers in my city, they cost too much, maybe if I got a cut.

Add a garage usage fee once we get those in the next publish. I think most civic structures should have a way to pay for themselves. Why can't we, as you suggest, get a cut from the trainers and cloning centers? Gardens and banks obviously will be limited to credit sinks but they should increase traffic flow to your city which in turn should increase sales so indirectly they pay for themselves (assuming you have sales tax).

I also think we should have some fiscal reward for the city beng busy.

Fees - as well as shuttle, we could be getting a cut from cloning, training and soon to be garage fees.

Missions - why not make these work like the mission terminals in faction bases - give a percentage of the mission payout to the city treasury.

I don't have any faction mission terminals in town, because people running them from the bases pays the maintenance on those bases and I wouldn't want to draw people away from there.

I mean really, I understand if you have an attractive city and people frequent it, you will HOPEFULLY have people shopping

your vendors and getting some sales tax profit, that's cool.

But what if you're close to a faction base,70 people come to your city to clone because it's the closest to the enemy base

without being IN the base.

So basically I paid for a convenient spot for people to clone and get crap out of it.

Those soldiers are in a hurry, they most likely have all their equipment (I don't think they would plan a raid and rely on the

fact that the closest cities vendors are full of meds).

So they wont be shopping, just cloning and insuring. I don't even need a cut of the insurance terminal, just the cloning.

This is what I would like to see the 'income tax' based on. A percentage of the mission terminals not a flat per week per citizen fee (also known as a poll tax). That would give also addvalue to the special that increases mission payouts by 20%.
