It's true, Master Politician should have some sort of prize besides a badge saying to matsered politician. Most who mastered early have either retired from politician (dropped all politician skills) or have dropped some skills to be able to get skills in other professions because most of the politician skills are one time use items.

I myself retired from being mayor and dropped all my politician skills. I did get a good feeling for having built up a metropolis of over 100 people, but I got little else except 100s of emails a day and dozens of tells as soon as I logged on. There should have been some sort of reward. Politician takes longer than any other skill to master and most likely takes the most actual effort from a player. It requires real life skills to have a successful city and provides so much to the game. It should have been recognized with something to say..well..."thanks for the hard work".
