Hey all,
I am curious about the politician profession and some of my questions are very simple, so please don't grief me, just help me out.
1 - Do you need skill points to be a Politician?
2 - How do you pick up the Politician Profession?
3 - If the incumbent is voted out and I win the election, would I become novice politician at that point?
4 - Any other useful advice?

Here are the answers to your questions. But when you come to a board and see a FAQ stickied at the top you should check there for your answers first.
1. Yes it, takes the same skills points as any starter profession 73 I think to master, 15 for novice.
2. Get 200 apprentice XP and find a skill trainer in the capital city of any planet.
3. No, you have to have novice politician to register for the election.
4. Think long and hard if you really want to sacrfice the skill points for this. Spend 15-20 min and read the boards in here. One a city is up and running, there isn't much to do.

1 - Yes. It takes skill points just like any other basic profession.
2 - Talk to a Politician trainer. They are in most capitol cities near the city hall.
3 - No, you become Novice Politician when you pick up the skill from the Politician trainer.
4 - Read this forum regularly for all kinds of Politician information.
