our new city hall was placed rather hurriedly, (for various reasons) and is almost certainly not in the ideal location.

I assume that city radiius is measured from the centre of the city hall ? or is from the entrance ?

anyway - given that we would like to move the building, can it be done ?

It cannot be done, per say, you have to destroy the city hall, wich abolishes the city. You will have to place a new one, wich will start the city all over again, if someone dosent beat ya 2 it.

ok- thanks - I thought it might be something like that.

Guess we have to live with the current location and try and work the city plan round it !!

What about the 'centre' of the town radius ? Is that measured from the entrance to the city hall, or the centre of the building ?

When you put down a city hall deed you receive a waypoint which appears at the center of the building, that is the axis of your city radius.

--I have relocated our city.

1) you get kicked down to city size 1

2) you have to have a new city hall deed

3) there is no "wait" period, I was able to place the new city hall right after destroying the old one.

4) We were damn lucky no one tried to place a city hall right after our first one was destroyed, but before the 2nd city hall was placed.
