This is a common problem... there is no way to abdicate the position of mayor, you must be voted out... this can sometimes be a very difficult move to make... I would suggest calling on all of your past friends and allies and emphasizing the dire need of the situation... left unchecked these situations can get ugly over time. Make a big push to get that handled asap.

oh no its not the case I will get the vote in 3 days..... just wanted to know if there was a way to speed it up besides voting thanks for the help thou

Ahh, I see, No. To my knowledge there is no way to speed up elections... they happen with city updates and no sooner....

As I told a friend the other night... "I'm gonna go grind politician", he replied "Umm, how do you do that?", to which I said "Oh, I sleep to speed the approach of the next server update".
