Thread: please help: can't give out zoning rights

I layed down a city last night and got 10 ppl to join, but had to leave the zoning open because it wouldn't let me give out individual zoning rights. It keeps telling me a have to be mayor, but I thought I am default mayor?? Can anyone help me please?

Ouch... that's a tough one... were you inside when you were trying to give out zoning rights?


You can't give out zoning rights while inside a structure, like say the city hall... trying doing it again outside. I am not sure why this is the case, but it is.


Also, try and remember to revoke zoning rights when you are done letting them place the house. This will prevent starnge unwanted things from happening in your city down the road.
