Greeting
I have a little problem here with 2 of my chars !
My main char is now mayor over our town
But i have now started a new accout so i can you a other char
as a mayor !
And here is the problem! we all voted on the new mayor but it dident change ? The new mayor won woth 22 - 19 !!
So can anyone explain this for me =) or it is a bugg ?
I heard that the new mayor got to win with 60% of the votes ! its that true ?

22 + 19 is just 41 votes. What is the population of your city? Also, I think the mayor's vote automatically goes for himself, regarless of what he/she actually votes. But if you city has more than 41 citizens, then the non-voting citizens voted for your current mayor.
Most people have trouble switching the mayor because non-voting citizens automatically vote for the existing (encumbant) mayor. Thus you need more than half of your total citizenship to vote for the new person, and if you have 100+ citizens,coordinating 50+ votes in one week isvirtually impossible.
I guess its all our own fault for having so many inactive citizens, but still it sure would be nice to be able to bow out of being mayor and hand it over to someone new. The game needs a /makemayor command which would allow existing mayors to hand over the mayor role to someone else. There is a petition for that on these forums.
