Thread: Question regarding Player HQs

Since Plinka stated that player cities cannot be created in the radius of player HQs (Detachment HQ, etc), are the developers going to allow player HQs to be redeeded so that players can keep to their original city plans as best as possible?

I know of several guilds who are going to run into this problem, including ours.

I agree that they should be able to be redeeded at least once.

Ok, this is off-topic, but I've never gotten a response in the GCW forum:

1) How in the HELL did you get enough FPs to get a Detachment HQ

AND (related)

2) Do FP payouts for faction missions increase substantially as credit payouts for normal missions do?

2a) What is the criteria for a greater payout?

2b) Do PvP rewards ever overtake mission rewards in terms of FPs gained?

2c) If so, what is the criteria for those gains?

PLEASE PLEASE don't moderate this question out of this forum... I've been looking for an answer to this question for WEEKS.

At one time, players were able to farm faction points, taking in 5,000 points in per 45 minutes or so. This is how a few people got theirs. You do the math here. Farming faction is still possible, but only to an extent. It turns out to be about 2000 to 3000 per hour as of present, and it takes 2 people to do it instead of 1.

I'm not sure about your other questions... they are unclear. There are topics about this stuff in the GCW forums, you just have to look around. That is probably why you haven't been replied to.

Anyway, back to topic. Is the player HQ situation going to be considered at all by the developers, Plinka?

Ok well Vryce, I can answer a couple of those questions.

Yes FP rewards scale up as the missions difficulty scales up. When grouped with an ATST and troopers and PC's you can get Factional missions difficulty over 200. thats some serious FPs.

With respect to Faction HQ's:

1) The player is human

2) The player is a Master Smuggler (15% (?) discount on faction perks, also can trade money for faction points I think)

3) It helps to be on the side of GCW thats getting the 30% discount to Faction perks. (Cant remember if its losing or winning side).

4) Supporting players within that person's PA (or group) can delegate FP to that player, if they have been working at their faction also.

5) The player is very dedicated

Thats about all I can think of.

Imperial Human Master Smuggler: 60000 * .7 *.75 which ends up around 31,200

Doing level 10 missions over and over and over I rake in around 120 FP every few minutes maybe, I'm slower than most because my combat skills aren't that great, and with all the running, I end up getting around 500-750 an hour.

The Forward Outpost is much easier to get, but yes it is much easier for the Imperials to get the DHQ.

I've built 2 FOs in the last couple of weeks and numerous turrets and spent somewhere in the realm of 70k FPs since I started a month and a bit ago.

Its not that hard. So long as its the only thing you do. Of course I've sacrificed XP/money to do this.
